FOLARIN ISAIAH AKANO

Akano Isaiah Folarin studied law at the University of Ilorin, Ilorin and graduated in the year 2006. He was called to the Nigerian Bar in November 2007.

He joined the firm of Olalekan Yusuf & Co. in March 2010. He had at different times had course to work on various aspects of the law like Commercial law, Constitutional law, Secured Credit, and Criminal Law among others. Folarin is a core litigator, a team player, research oriented, ebullient, courageous and friendly.

He penned an article titled “Creation of new Local Government under the Nigeria 1999 Constitution: A.G. Lagos V. A. G. Federation [2004] 11-12 SC Pg. 85, Revisited. Published by The Jurist, Vol. 10, 2005, Essays in Honour of Hon. Justice Umaru Faruk Abdullahi [P.C.A].

He is presently a member of the Nigerian Bar Association.
